crown.1 Server Hardware Upgrades

Our server crown.1 is going under the knife to day. Once completed it will have 8 processors and 12 GB RAM. These Xeon CPU's are faster have nearly twice the processing capability. 4 more gigs of RAM does not hurt either. So with double the processors having double the power with a faster motherboards bus clock rate, we expect to see 4 - 5 times the performance. We'll be happy even if the real world numbers work out to twice or triple the power.

On another bright note, these are a smaller die cast and use less energy to run. You can't beat that a lightning rod!
